Roland Park Civic League
The Roland Park Civic League was established in 1895 and incorporated in 1907, by the company that developed the neighborhood. It is a civic governing body that addresses matters affecting the interests of residents. Its purpose is to foster the common good and welfare of its members, to take action on those matters of mutual interest, and to otherwise represent the people of Roland Park.
The Civic League represents the community on issues affecting the quality of life in Roland Park. Issues include, but are not limited to, land-use and planning, public safety and crime, zoning matters, traffic and transportation, infrastructure and the Master Plan implementation. The Civic League interacts with City and State Agencies on behalf of the community, and represents the community in regard to proposed developments. We also support neighboring communities and institutions such as the Roland Park Library and the Roland Park Public School.
We are fortunate to live in a beautiful and thriving community. The effectiveness of the Civic League depends on understanding and constructively responding to the community’s needs. We need every resident to get involved.
You can become a member of the Civic League by joining here. Then participate on issues important to you! When a community speaks together, its voice can be so much more powerful.
The Civic League meets typically the first Wednesday of each month at the Roland Park Presbyterian Church, 4801 Roland Avenue, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.Parking is available on the street. If you wish to place an item on the agenda, send your request to CivicLeague@RolandPark.org.
