**Of note, there will be an important discussion about Verizon’s plan for 5G towers to be placed in the community. Reps from Verizon and Baltimore City Planning will be present via Zoom to talk about plans and take questions. This is our opportunity to get information and ask quesiton! Please plan to attend and provide your input!

New RP Civic League Speaker Series Kicks Off with Dr. Paige Glotzer at the Ivy Bookshop on October 13th at 7:00PM
Join the Civic League and Greater Roland Park community on the patio at the Ivy Bookshop (5928 Falls Road) to hear Dr. Paige Glotzer talk about her book “How the Suburbs were Segregated” and engage the audience in discussions to better understand the ways in which our past shapes the present with regard to economic and social inequities. Wednesday, October 13th at 7:00PM.
The event with Dr. Glotzer kicks off the Civic League’s new Speaker Series. On November 4th, Chris Shorter, Baltimore’s first City Administrator will speak at the Roland Park Library. This event begins at 6:30PM.

The Roland Park Civic League is excited to announce the first annual September Socials!
Outdoor gatherings will take place in each of the six Roland Park plats, all hosted by Civic League board members! Join your neighbors and friends and toast the spirit of our community! Here is the schedule of socials by plat:

September Civic League Meeting Tomorrow 9/8 at 7PM! And it’s in Person!
Join us for the long-awaited return to an indoor Civic League meeting! Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8th at 7PM. Presbyterian Church on Roland Avenue in the basement meeting room.
There will also be a Zoom link for those that prefer to join remotely. Tony Foreman of Foreman-Wolf restaurant group will kick off the Civic League Speaker Series! He will discuss how his restaurants have been adjusting during the pandemic.
